Essential Information

When is the best travel time for Bhutan?

The best time to visit Bhutan is from October to December as the air and sky are bright and sunny. January and February are colder, but from then until April, the local climate remains dry of high quality. In late spring, the beautiful rhododendrons flower bloom spectacularly and flood the valleys with beautiful colours. The heat and humidity intensify from May to September, and the monsoon rain covers the mountains at this time. If you would like to see the unusual black-necked cranes, we recommend travelling through the Phobjikha Valley between late October and mid-February.

Memorable Trip in the Himalayan Country Bhutan

I did a 10-day tour of Bhutan with Nepal Tour & Trekking Service P. Ltd. The highlights of the tour are undoubtedly the beautiful coniferous forests, the Punakha fortress, and the Jambay festival in Jakar, a real feast for the eyes. The tour operator, Nepal Tour & Trekking Service, was absolutely professional, available, and impeccably personal in the organization phase, with impeccable and comprehensive responses from Kishor. Our tour guide Sangay and the driver were excellent. On the last day, I also met the owner who picked me up with a long drive from Thimphu to Paro. . All in all, a wonderful trip to a wonderful country, organized by a reliable and satisfactory tour operator. I will choose this agency for trekking in Nepal next year. Thank you for organizing a wonderful trip to Bhutan.
