January, and February) is also the best option.
Chitwan National Park is located in the western Terai of Nepal, 84 kilometres from Pokhara. Although it is not on the most direct route between Pokhara and Kathmandu, it is equidistant from either city, making it convenient for detours when travelling in Nepal.

1. Fly from Pokhara to Bhadrapur to reach Chitwan.
2. Take the bus or car from Pokhara to Chitwan
About five hours by private transfer.
On a good day, the overland drive between Kathmandu and Chitwan National Park takes about five hours. It's a scenic drive that follows the Trisuli Valley, with its steep forested hills and farming villages, for a long distance, then turns south into Mugling and the plains.
126 miles
Pokhara doesn't seem very far from Kathmandu (the city is only 205 km), but the road's quality makes for a very long journey. For this reason, many travellers choose to fly. Here are your options for travelling between the two cities, either by air or by road.

I booked a Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan tour with Nepal Tour & Trekking Service P. Ltd after reading the positive reviews about a company, and I must say I have no regrets. It was a family vacation, and we had a great time. It was fascinating to explore temples, stupas, and palace squares built in the middle Ages. We don't see this type of architecture where we come from. It was incredibly educational and eye-opening for our children who are still in elementary school. They loved the wildlife safari in Chitwan National Park. Our words cannot express the beauty of Pokhara city and its Nature. It was an unforgettable experience for all of us when we saw our first sunrise together as a Sarangkot. Thanks to all team for making our vacation so meaningful and memorable! We are also grateful to our knowledgeable guides, who were kind enough and sporty enough. We are already planning our next family vacation.

I just got back from the trip of a lifetime, and I can't thank Kishor enough for making it happen. Kishor organized a fantastic 7 Nights 8 day days Nepal Tour for me and my friends that included a wonderful stay in and out of Kathmandu, a flight to Everest mountain, a short trek, and a visit Pokhara and a safari in Chitwan. The week went smoothly, including all air and car travel. I felt we were getting fantastic value for money and experienced some of the best deals in Nepal. Kishor was a pleasure working with, and he responded very well to all of our questions and concerns. We are hoping to make another trip near future.
