entry visa. You can get it from a Nepalese embassy abroad or upon arrival in
Nepal. Most people receive the visa upon arrival at Kathmandu airport.
It requires
a passport size photo and is subject to the following fees:

v 30 days USD 50 or equivalent
convertible currency
v 90 days USD 125 or convertible

CULTURAL CONSIDERATIONS
For those
visiting Nepal, we have provided some cultural information to help you fit in
and feel comfortable:
The dress
code is essential for both genders. Both men and women should wear pants rather
than shorts when sightseeing in Kathmandu. It is okay for men to wear vests,
but they should not go naked.
Women should
be as modest as possible in these conditions.
Hindus are
concerned about ritual contamination of food if someone outside their caste or
religion touches it. Therefore, do not touch cooked food in plain view and avoid
touching your lips when drinking from a vessel used by others. Do not eat with
the left hand and give or receive food only with the right hand. Shoes are
considered demeaning, so leave them on the floor and remove them before putting
your feet on anything. When entering a Nepali home, follow your host's lead in
deciding whether to remove your shoes, but remove them when entering a temple
or monastery.
Along the
way, you will pass Buddhist mani walls, chortens, and stupas and follow local
traditions; you should leave them on the right.
Travel insurance
Travel
insurance for any of our company's itineraries is a condition of booking your
vacation. As a minimum, you should have an emergency, medical and repatriation
insurance, which should include the costs of mountain rescue, theft, loss, damage,
and clinical problems. There is a wide range of policies available. Check your
insurer's terms and conditions carefully, especially the vital part of the fine
print. Some policies exclude "dangerous activities,” including
motorcycling and trekking and certainly bungee jumping and rafting).
Choose a
policy covering clinical and emergency repatriation, including helicopter
evacuations and general medical evacuations. You may prefer a policy that pays
doctors or hospitals directly rather than having to bear on the spot and claim
later. In Nepal, most clinical treatment must be paid to the place. If your
insurance does not provide for payment in advance, be sure to obtain receipts
to claim them later.
You must
understand that evacuation and repatriation costs are ultimately your
responsibility and that it is your responsibility to pay for evacuation or
medical treatment. You should be aware of the consequences of taking out your
travel insurance and understand the limitations and exclusions of your policy.
You should be aware that, under certain circumstances, our Company Guide may
initiate rescue operations by helicopter (or other means) in the event of
medical emergencies without first contacting your insurance company for
approval.
Nagarkot is
located at an altitude of 2,195 meters, and it is considered one of the most
scenic places in the Bhaktapur district. It is famous for sunrise views of the
Himalayas, including Mount Everest and other Himalayan peaks in eastern Nepal.
Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley.
Nagarkot is
about 32 km northeast of Kathmandu, at the northern end of the Kathmandu
Valley. Nagarkot is famous for its views of the Himalayas: the Himalayan peaks
at sunrise are an incredible sight.
The flight
is the fastest and most comfortable way to travel between Kathmandu and Pokhara
and is highly recommended if you are short on time. Numerous flights depart
daily from the domestic terminal at Tribhuvan Airport and take only about 30
minutes.
By flight: You can fly directly from Kathmandu
to Pokhara. Travel time is about 30 minutes.
Buses are elementary
to get from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and the travel time is about 7 hours.
Pokhara is
one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal and, fortunately, easily accessible.
From Kathmandu, the lake city is only about 210 km away, which means it can be
reached 6 to 7 hours by road or 30 minutes by plane.

Very happy
with the service and overall trip organized by Kishor and Narayan.
Kishor was terrific
with correspondence until the last days of the trip, and on the ground, Narayan
was very accommodating and flexible with our itinerary.
Kishor told
us that Pohkara is the highlight of our trip. As said, we enjoyed ourselves in
Pokhara with Nature. Sarangkot Sunrise visit and Paragliding are highly
recommended. Narayan was an excellent guide on-site, and it would have been
nice to hike, but unfortunately, we cancel hiking due to weather conditions. If
we go again, we will use this agency. We highly recommend this agency and Mr.
Kishor for an excellent arrangement for those thinking about the Nepal trip.
Special
thanks to all the guides and drivers during our trip. We had a lovely driver who
helped us take great photos.

Kishor
prepared a beautiful itinerary and organized the trip to the country. The
cities around Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and, Nagarkot were surrounded by
natural and spiritual beauty. We had the best tour guide during our trip. His
Name is Narayan. He has excellent knowledge about the culture, history, and
tradition of the place we visited and knew how to explain the surroundings. Narayan made our visit to Nepal enjoyable as
he guided our group through ancient temples/places. We saw beautiful sunrises
and sunsets over the Himalayas. In Chitwan National Park, we had different
nature guide who was intelligent and cheerful. He took us on nature walks and
explained in great detail the wildlife we encountered. I was incredibly
impressed with his passion for Nepal's natural wonders. Overall, the tour was
excellent, and I would highly recommend to anyone to choose this company as
they made our trip unforgettable.

My wife and
I took a ten-day private tour of Nepal with Nepal Tour and Trekking Service P.
Ltd, and our host was Mr. Kishor and Narayan. We had a wonderful time. The
itinerary was excellent, a combination of visits to Kathmandu, Bandipur, Pokhara,
three days of Poon Hill trekking, Bhaktapur, and Nargakot to finish.
Everything
went well, and our guide was excellent. We learned a lot about Nepali culture,
tradition, and way of life. He was very kind and considerate toward us.
We drove
from Kathmandu to Pokhara and stopped in Bandipur along the way, which is
highly recommended. However, we would also recommend flying when returning to
Kathmandu, as the trip can take many hours. In conclusion, our trip was perfect,
and we highly recommend this agency and team of Kishor. Many thanks to everyone
involved in making the trip so much fun. I would do differently on another
trip.

Even though
we traveled to Nepal during the rainy season, Mr. Kishor developed an excellent
plan to enjoy Nepal within nine days. When we first landed, Kishor and his
driver met us, who is very kind and friendly. During our trip, Kishor talks
with us every morning and evening to makes sure we get the best service. Then
we flew to Pokhara, and we loved the hotel they selected for us. They have one
of the best hospitality services and a peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay
in Pokhara before heading to Chitwan and had our two-day Pokhara city tour with
an excellent guide. He is a humorous, knowledgeable, and experienced guide who
looks forward to spending more days with him. We leave Nepal with the promise
of traveling again in the future.

I booked the
City Tour, and I am delighted with the experience. From the first steps of the email
inquiry, Kishor and his friend Narayan always answered any questions I had and
quickly. The staff is more than that: they became my friends for life! I owe
each of them much gratitude for contributing to these precious memories. Kul,
the owner himself, came to Kathmandu airport to welcome me. We had so much fun!
Narayan is always helpful and with a smile. My tour guide Jeevan was a great
source of information who taught me while making each stop entertaining. If I
had any questions or needed help, there was always someone there to take care
of everything without hesitation. I highly recommend this company.

Mr. Kishor,
the Manager, is a frank guy who organized everything perfectly and with very
fair and reasonable prices. On our trip, we had private transportation, which
was very comfortable, and the driver was well experienced, friendly, and easy-going.
We got a very nice hotel in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, and Nagarkot. Our
travel schedule was prepared in the right things at the right time. It was good
services thank you very much, see you on the next trip to Nepal. I highly
recommend this operator without any hesitation to any travelers to Nepal.
