Highlighted places of this trip

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square is the royal palace of the former king of Nepal, located in the heart of the Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu Durbar Square was founded by King Pratap Malla in 1672 AD. It is the royal palace where the king is crowned, and his coronations are solemn. The main attraction of this palace is the royal palace with historical art, Kumari Ghar, Kasthamandap, and Jaisi devel. Kumari Ghar is known as the house of the goddess Kumari. Kumari is the only goddess in the world who is alive. So this place is especially for God Kumari. Kasthamandap is one of the famous temples made only by the forests in the 16th century by Queen Laxmi Narasimha. The whole building is made from the wood of a single tree. This building has the most exciting and fantastic wood art, which is unique. Jaisi devel temple is a holy temple for Hindus which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. That is why it is kept in the world heritage of UNESCO.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is another royal palace of the former king, which is also on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in the east of Kathmandu valley and was built in the 12th century by Ananda Malla. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is more popular and famous than the other Durbar Squares. The popularity of Bhaktapur Durbar Square is due to its magical history, ancient architecture, ancient royal palace, 55-window palace, Nyatapol temple, also known as the highest temple in Nepal, built in the 17th century and dedicated to Siddhi Laxmi, Bhairabnath temple, Batsala temple, Lion gate and other older Hindu and Buddhist monuments.

Patan Durbar Square: Patan Durbar Square is one of the most visited places in the Kathmandu Valley and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Patan Durbar Square was made in the 16th century by the former king Siddinarshinma Malla. The main attraction of Patan Durbar Square is its magical historical architecture. The Golden Temple, Krishna Mandir, Peace Gallery, Patan Museum, and many other places are the main reason for its popularity. According to legend, the Golden Temple was found in the 12th century. Its facade is covered with golden metal plates, so it is also called Golden Temple. Krishna Mandir is the most important sacred place for Hinduism. Each place has its exciting history.

Changunarayan Temple: The Changunarayan temple is the oldest in Nepal dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Changu Narayan temple has masterpieces dating back to the 5th and 12th centuries. According to legend, the Changunarayan temple was built in the 4th century by King Lichhavi. ChanguNarayan temple has the oldest and rarest wood and stone art that was made hundreds of years ago. For this reason, the Changu Narayan temple is included in the UNESCO World Heritage.

Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple was one of the oldest temples on the World Heritage Site list in 1979. The origin of Pashupatinath has different stories. In one story, it is said that once Shiva and Parvathi were traveling and then rested on the bank of the river Bagmati. Then Shiva was impressed by the beauty of the nearby jungle. Then Shiva and Parvathi changed their avatar to a deer. After some time, other gods started searching for Shiva, and then they found Shiva as a deer in the jungle, and he refused to leave the jungle. So he lived in the river Bagmati while as a deer, he became known as Pashupatinath, which means lord of all animals.

Fantastic Travel Company

If you want to go to Nepal, I highly recommend Nepal Tour & Trekking Service P. Ltd. Mr. Kishor, Manager of the company, was prompt in his email response before the trip and prompt in meeting with me every day during the trip. He is very flexible, friendly, helpful, professional, considerate, and with decent fees. Of course, he has extensive knowledge of natural and cultural history. It was never a problem if I wanted to change anything in the itinerary, and he was almost always able to suggest different activities or places to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Nepal. Thank you very much for all the team of Kishor.

A short but memorable trip

In 2018, I took a short trip to Nagarkot. Since I had a very short vacation, I thought I would visit Kathmandu and the surrounding hills. I have to admire Kishor for planning my trip accordingly and making my trip worthwhile. I enjoyed visiting Kathmandu's main attractions in just one day. To top it off, Nagarkot was very special. The view from the top of the hill was just extraordinary. Overall, I had a great tour that I will remember for a long time.

I plan to travel to Nepal next year to trek to Annapurna base camp or Everest Base Camp Without hesitation. I would book again with this agency. See you soon, my friend!!!
